Director Zheng Attend the 2015 Third China Luzhou Southwest Commodity Fair

On the 16th of September, the 2015 Third China Luzhou Southwest Commodity Fair on the subject of Innovative Development, Transformation and Upgrades kicked off at Luzhou's Southwest Commodity Trade City. Li Xiangzhi, the deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial People's Congress, announced the commencement of the fair The Deputy Chairman of the China General Chamber of Commerce Fu Longcheng and the Director of the Sichuan Bureau of Expo Affairs Zheng Li both delivered speeches at the event. The Deputy Secretary of the Municipal CPC Committee and Mayor of Luzhou Liu Qiang were the hosts for the ceremony. Finally, the Deputy Director of the Sichuan Bureau of Expo Affairs Wang Mian was also present.

This commodity fair covered 50,000m2 in the main exhibition area with 1,010 standard exhibition booths, which attracted more than 400 companies to participate. The auxiliary exhibition area, an area for communication across markets, covered 470,000m2 and attracted 70,000 companies to participate. The main exhibition area was divided into three smaller exhibition areas which were the commodity, service and innovation and entrepreneurship areas, which were mainly composed of O2O e-commerce, modern logistics and innovative products. The Sichuan Boutique Pavilion, Europe Pavilion, Thailand Pavilion, Malaysia Pavilion and Sichuan-Guizhou-Chongqing Pavilion indicated the regional, global and diverse characteristics of this commodity fair. The Sichuan Boutique Pavilion organized by the Sichuan Bureau of Expo Affairs was a high-profile area. Competitive products made in Sichuan were on show and garnered massive amounts of attention. These products includes the pterosaur unmanned aerial vehicle, the J-10 model, models of high-temperature superconductivity maglev trains, wearable robotics, applicable products of Beidou (Compass) Navigation Satellite System, Changhong intelligent appliances, smart household products and dazzling bicycles.

Several supporting activities were also held during the fair, such as the summit forum, speeches on the topic of New Business Futures in the Internet Era and an e-commerce strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Southwest China.

With the large amounts of attention given to development of the exhibition industry across the entire province, the Sichuan Bureau of Expo Affairs has actively supported and participated in exhibition holding events in cities and prefectures in recent years, which has cultivated and accelerated the rapid development of another batch of local autonomous exhibitions, including the China Luzhou International Alcoholic Drinks Expo and China Luzhou Southwest Commodity Fair.
