A Boom of Events around the Corner in Sichuan

Sichuan exhibition industry underwent a year of harvest in 2014, now with a year of expansion ahead in 2015. A series of special featured exhibitions are to be organized by Sichuan government at all levels in 2015, offering more opportunities to enterprises.

2015 Sichuan Agricultural Fair & China ? Chengdu International Urban Modern Agricultural Expo

2015 Sichuan Agricultural Fair & China ? Chengdu International Urban Modern Agricultural Expo, themed by “promoting agricultural modernization with the weapon of reforming & innovation”, is to be held at the New International Convention & Exhibition Center of Century City, Chengdu in early November, 2015, with the venue sitting on an area of 120,000m2, mainly presenting oversea & domestic modern agriculture technologies, fresh & well-processed agricultural products, agricultural production data, leisure agriculture & countryside tourism, new rural area constructions as well as other technologies, products and services related to whole chains of agriculture. According to related statistics, the 1st session occupied an area of 8000m2 and the total project investment reached RMB37.59 billion and the purchasing trade contract value amounted to RMB6.2 billion while the 2nd one occupied an area of 23200m2 and the total project investment reached RMB43.275 billion and the purchasing trade contract value amounted to RMB24.4 billion.

The 8th China International SME Fair

The 8th China International SME Fair is expected to be held in December or in 2015, focusing on “Cooperation, Innovation and Service”, taking up an area of 20,000m2 and involving fields such as e-commerce, new materials, new energies, machining, fine chemical engineering, biological medicine as well as deep processing of agricultural & sideline products. A series of practical & efficient auxiliary activities including “major clients sodality”, “opening ceremony”, “China SMEs Development Forum on E-commerce--Sourcing Conference” and “visits & inspections” are also to be held.

The 2^nd China(Chengdu) International General Aviation Industry Development Summit Forum

The 2^nd China(Chengdu) International General Aviation Industry Development Summit Forum is to be held in June 2015, expected to be attended by also most 300 guests. Boasting advantageous corresponding basis and conditions, Sichuan has so far established the general aviation industry promotion team. The industry is to take a big leap with a growth rate of above 20% within next 5 years. This session, themed by “China’s General Aviation Industry Development Path”, will focus on promotion of the industry in Sichuan.

The 2^nd ChinaIntelligent Automobile Forum

In recent years, in Sichuan, great importance has been attached to the development of auto industry, which has been listed into the "7 3" advantageous industries of the province and developed by leads and bounds. So far, an auto industry system integrating auto & parts R&D, manufacturing, marketing and maintenance has taken shape in Sichuan, which has become one of the most important auto manufacturing bases in the country. The 2^nd China Intelligent Automobile Forum is to be held in October 2015, involving hot technologies, market trend, business model, product application, policy focus as well as investment direction related to smart autos. About 600 guests will be in attendance.

The 2^nd China (Western) Flat Panel Display Industry Forum is to be held in October 2015 in Chengdu, focusing on the flat panel display industry development status & trends in west China, China and even across the world, the industry development, investment highlights and business model in the west, as well as current and future state-of-art industry technologies.

China (Western) Import E-commerce Promotion Forum

China (Western) Import E-commerce Promotion Forum is to be held in October 2015, focusing on e-commerce companies expanding import market in the west; about 250 will be in attendance.

CeBIT

The CeBIT is to be held during March 16~20, 2015 in Hanover,Germany,themed by “digital economy”. The venue will take up 150,000m2 and fields are to be involved including IT basic facilities, business communication & internet system, banking & financial equipment, commercial application of IT as well as navigation & automation world. A batch of Sichuan famous enterprises, led by Sichuan Bureau of Expo Affairs, will head toGermanyfor the exhibition then; special Sichuan exhibition halls will be also arranged, all to promote interaction between Sichuan electronic information industries to the worldwide markets.

Sino-Russia Drainage Basins Economic and Trade Cultural Cooperation Achievements Exhibition

Sino-Russia Drainage Basins Economic and Trade Cultural Cooperation Achievements Exhibition is to be held in June 2015 in Chengdu, mainly presenting economic & trade exchanges, technical cooperation, cultural exchanges, economic & trade development, cultural & tourism resources as well as featured commodities in 6 provinces (cities) along the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and the 14 states in Federal District along the Volga.

WCIF in Taiwan

Western Fair promotion and results exhibition will be carried out in June 2015 inTaiwan, to promote economic & trade exchanges between Sichuan andTaiwanand show the development and achievements of the past 15 sessions. Sichuan advanced articles, featured culture industry, as well as the development condition of the Sichuan 5 major high-end industries displayed at the Fair will be introduced. Meanwhile, investment attraction for the 16th Western Fair and Western China Import Expo & International Investment Fair will be carried out and about 3000 visitors will be in attendance.

The 3rd Mianyang International Hi-Tech Expo

The 3rd Mianyang International Hi-Tech Expo is to be held during September 22~25, 2015 in Mianyang Sichuan, focusing on “Military & Civil Integration, Technological Innovation and Opening-up & Cooperation”. The venue will take up an area of 80,000m2 and various respects will be involved including information security & the Internet of Things, new energies auto, energy conservation & environmental protection, aviation & gas turbine, Beidou navigation system, new generation display technologies, 3D printing & robots, other “4 3” high-end growth industries, as well as the latest technological achievements in the host country, military industry groups, national-level high-tech zones and the major 4 economic areas in Sichuan.

The 8th Western China International Fair

The 8th Western China International Fair is to be held during March 21~25, 2015 in Luzhou Sichuan, with the venue sized at about 40,000m2, classified into drinks zone, package zone as well as equipment zone.

The 4th China International Logistics Expo

The 4th China International Logistics Expo is to be held in Suining Sichuan, with the venue sized at 10,000m2, focusing on logistics equipment & technologies, supply chain management services and information-based logistics. Exhibitions zones covering logistics planning & construction, logistics equipment, e-commerce logistics as well as medicine logistics will be arranged, offering overall presentation of Sichuan modern logistics development policies & environment. The Expo is intended to promote integrated development of logistics resources & facilities, to push up the modern level of logistics, to actively forge the logistics highland in the west and eventually to accomplish new path & results of logistics centralized development.

The 2^nd Leshan,China International Tourism Trade Fair

The 2^nd Leshan, China International Tourism Trade Fair is to be held in September 2015 in Emeishan, Sichuan, with the venue sized at 58,000m2, involving tourism products trade, tourism commodities introduction & marketing as well as tourism image presentation. Sticking to the principle of “serving market, tourism enterprises and tourists”, strive for a professional market-oriented market at international level through efforts on innovative market-oriented tourism trade. A series of auxiliary activities will be held then to introduce Sichuan local culture and rich tourism resources to worldwide tourism industry and to promote international cooperation on tourism, heading for a win-win future in tourism.

The 7th Sichuan Paocai International Exhibition

The 7th Sichuan Paocai International Exhibition is to be held in November 2015 in Meishan Sichuan, with the venue sized at 10,000m2. Meishan has organized the pickles exhibitions for 6 years in a row, aimed at integrating pickles industry development with the Dongpo culture. Efforts have been made to forge a “City of Pickles” inChinaand build the most well-known pickles brand.
