According to relevant resources, it has been preliminarily determined that recently former French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin will lead a delegation to attend the Western China (Sichuan) Import Expo and International Investment Fair (the “Import Expo” for short) to be held in October in Chengdu.

Mr. Raffrin has been devoting himself to promote Sino-French cooperation, especially the cooperation between Sichuan andFrance. Since 2011, he has led delegations to visit Sichuan and attend the Western China International Fair (WCIF) for four consecutive years. During the 15th WCIF in October 2014, the Cooperation and Development Forum between Thousands of Sino-French Medium and Small Enterprises as proposed by him was successfully held, about 1,000 Chinese and French entrepreneurs gathered together and conducted over 5,000 matching discussions, which facilitated multi-cooperation between Chinese and French enterprises. It’s the biggest economic and trade matching activity between Chinese and French enterprises in recent years.

    As introduced by French party, to continue the good cooperative momentum between Chinese and French enterprises, Mr. Raffarin is intended to lead over 50 French enterprises to participate in the Import Expo to deeply conduct economic and trade cooperative connections.
