On July 27th, the General Office of CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and the General Office of Sichuan People's Government required cities (autonomous prefectures) and provincial departments make deliberate and careful preparations for the Import Expo and International Investment Fair through printing and distributing the Notification of Good Preparations for Western China (Sichuan) Import Expo & International Investment Fair. As demanded in the Notification, efforts shall be strengthened to build a key economic and trade exchange platform for One Belt One Road project and a brand show for the opening and development in west area.

    Import Expo & International Investment Fair will be held between October 23rd and 27th in Chengdu. Themed with “Expanding Investment Cooperation and Boosting Trade Development”, it sticks to the international, professional and marketization development direction and focuses on promoting the multilateral investment as well as the trade cooperation. The exhibition covers a total area of over 80,000 m2, consisting of six main exhibition halls, namely JP&KR Hall, Europe &America Hall, ASEAN Hall, South Asia Hall, International Operation Hall for One Belt One Road, and Fashionable Life Hall. During the Fair, some activities will be held including Western China (Sichuan) Import Expo & Opening Ceremony, Western China (Sichuan) International Investment Fair & Signing Ceremony for Project Cooperation, 2015 Western China Opening Ceremony for Sourcing Fair and relevant activities, the 10th China-EU Sci-tech Cooperation Symposium of Investment and Trade, 2015 Sichuan-Euro Economic Cooperation and Exchange & Investment Project Symposium, Investment and Cooperation Symposium for Sichuan Electronic Information Industry, the 7th Exchange of Culture and Commerce & Membership Representative Conference of the World Chinese Society Association of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, the 7th Western China International Capital Forum, and a series of investment boosting activities in cities and states. At the same time, together with 2015 Western China International Sourcing Fair, some specialty activities will be held, like the Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference for Chinese-French Small and Middle-sized Enterprises, the 2nd West E-commerce Development Summit Forum, the 2nd Summit Forum for China (West) International Panel Display, the 2nd  Chinese Smart Car Forum, the 2nd China (Chengdu) International General Aviation Development Summit.
