In 2017, the 2nd WCIF-IEE attracted enterprises from 18 cities in Sichuan Province and 21 middle and eastern provinces/autonomous regions/cities outside of Sichuan Province.

In the last 2 sessions of WCIF, each of them attracted visitors about 80,000 person-times.

Last WCIF-IEE has seen the attendance of professional visitors about 37,000 person-times, covering the industries of fashion consumption, agricultural products and beverage, equipment manufacturing, energy conservation and environmental protection, electronic information, bio-medicine, etc. The participant institutions included importers and exporters, wholesalers/agencies, retail department stores, investors, manufacturers, trade service providers, industry chambers of commerce, multinational corporations, state-owned enterprises, research institutes, and industry media, etc.

A total of 898 journalists from 218 media covered last year’s WCIF with great details. It was reported on CCTV News and broadcasted live on Tecent, Sina and other websites alike.     

5. Opportunity of receiving the visits of Chinese provincial/municipal government leaders or foreign government/enterprise delegations.

    Last WCIF-IEE was inspected by Wang Yang, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and vice premier of the State Council. Liu Xiaofeng, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended the opening ceremony and visited the exhibition. Seven foreign heads of states (or some former ones), five foreign ministerial officials, 18 diplomatic envoys, 14 consul generals, three international organization principals, 46 business association representatives, 38 provincial and ministerial officials, officials from Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Tech, Ministry of Commerce, Committee of Health and Family Planning, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, State Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, State Administration for Food and Drug, and State Office of Port of Entry attended and visited the exhibition.
